Moved from Win 7 to Internal Hardware - Hamluis.īoot into safe mode nd try the following, please. If it's worth mentioning, my Windows 7 Ultimate had expired recently, so this may be the cause of it not appearing?Įdited by hamluis, 06 January 2018 - 07:31 AM. I have looked thoroughly through the System Logs, and even the Applications and Services logs via Microsoft/Windows/MemoryDiagnostic-Results and it only shows the previous Memory Diagnostic Tests I have conducted a month ago and more. I ran memory diagnostic tests (Standard, Default, 2 passes) 3 times now and no logs or pop ups have appeared after restart, and there is no log in the event viewer that mentions the memory diagnostic results apart from the memory diagnostic schedule. For good measure I ran startup repair but there seemed to be no problem with that. I did some searching and some of the threads from various websites said that it was a memory issue and that I should do a memory diagnostic test. *"Driver ACPI returned invalid ID for a child device (1)." ![]() There was this consistent error 56 that kept appearing at random dates: I checked the event logs and a critical Kernel-Power error 41 was shown in the event viewer, which was the result of the unresponsive shutdown itself. It didn't respond anymore to the mouse moving or the keyboard input so it was stuck. I had to shut down my computer through the power button earlier due to it being unresponsive after leaving it to idle and hibernate for 10 minutes. ![]()
